Our Commitment to Your Keepsake
At DearStory, every product we create is a unique piece of art, deeply personalized with your individual memories, photos, and stories. Because of the bespoke nature of our work, our refund and cancellation policies differ from standard e-commerce stores.
Order Cancellations
We understand that sometimes plans change.
- If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at neel@dearstory.in.
- Before Design Begins: If you cancel before our artists have begun crafting your storybook (typically within 24 hours of placing the order and submitting your details), we will issue a 100% full refund.
The Revision & Approval Phase
We want you to love your storybook. That is why we provide digital previews and allow revisions before anything is printed.
- If you are unsatisfied with the digital preview, our team will work with you through the permitted revisions to make it perfect.
No Refunds After Production
Because each storybook is custom-printed specifically for you and holds no resale value, we cannot offer full refunds, returns, or cancellations once you have given final approval and the book has entered the printing and production phase.
Damaged or Defective Deliveries
We package our storybooks and premium gift boxes with immense care. However, if your keepsake arrives physically damaged due to transit, or if there is a clear manufacturing defect:
- Please email us at neel@dearstory.in within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage.
- We will gladly and swiftly arrange for a free replacement to be printed and shipped to you. We do not issue cash refunds for transit damage, but we will always ensure you receive the perfect, pristine book you paid for.
